Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal could all move for Taarabt

Three of the Premier League's top four are reported to be interested in signing QPR playmaker Adel Taarabt, with champions Manchester United, runners-up Chelsea and fourth-placed Arsenal all enquiring about the Morroccan youngster.

Taarabt helped QPR secure promotion to the Premier League last season, after scoring 19 goals an providing 16 assists during the campaign. His performances won him the Championship player of the season award.
Manchester Untied manager Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to rebuild his squad after the retirements of Van der Sar, Gary Neville and Paul Scholes. Taarabt could be a direct replacement for Scholes, though he is one for the future as he is well short of experience.
The Metro reports that Ferguson is understood to be impressed by Taarabt and the fact that he is open to a move away from the London club could see the Scot make a move for him. However, he is contracted to the club until 2013 and since he has a £10m release clause, it remains to be seen who makes the move. Taarabt is keen to leave as he was by QPR told that he wouldn't be given an improved deal as he is already on high wages.

In an interview with L'Equipe, Taarabt was also quoted as saying that London clubs, Chelsea and Arsenal, had both enquired about him. However, he added that a move to Chelsea was, as yet, doubtful as the Blues are still searching for a coach, while with Arsenal, his move depends on whether Cesc Fabregas moves to Barcelona or not.
The 22-year-old is a highly rated youngster and moved to QPR from Tottenham after his loan deal was made permanent. However, he has a rocky relationship with team boss Neil Warnock, and this could also be another factor to lead him to a move away from the recently promoted Premier league side.
